REVIEW: Six Months by Dannika Dark

Six Months by Dannika Dark

Destiny will find you.

April Frost is a compassionate young woman with a steady job and ambitious goals. But the harder she runs away from her past, the more it threatens to destroy her. When three strangers enter her life, April is forced to face her demons and it's a battle she may not win.

Private investigators in the Breed world are men who take risks, and Reno Cole is no exception. As a Shifter, he's expected to control his inner animal. But lately his wolf has been venturing dangerously close to the city, and he's about to discover why. When Reno is reintroduced to a family friend, the attraction is immediate. April captivates him with her secretive eyes and resilient spirit. She's also in trouble, and despite the fact she's a human, Reno can't turn his back on her.

April is caught between two worlds: One that threatens to bury her dreams and another that could fulfill them. Can she trust the wolf at her door and find the courage to overcome her demons?

Six Months is book two in Dannika’s Seven Series and our leading man is Reno Cole! And April Frost as the spitfire kickass heroine!!
So April works at the candy shop that Lexi owns now (Wanna know why and haven’t read Seven Years?? Find it here: AmazonUS) and she walks home every night. One fateful evening, she learns that the debts her grandmother had before she passed away she thought were repaid… aren’t ALL repaid…

Reno is a GIANT M&M I swear!! Lol Hard on the outside and soft, gooey and melty on the inside…

April is given a hell of a lot of obstacles in this book, a debt that’s not hers but is now, Trevor’s…issues (and trust me, this one is a doozy... lol), Reno (stubborn ass sexy man). April is used to being on her own for the most part and I was really able to relate to her. She has a love of all animals which could have been very bad for her, but ends up being a very amazing good part in the end. She sure does make Reno’s wolf scratch and howl... hehe.
I am so worried about the fate of Reno and April however, because of April being a human and aging at human rates of speed and Reno aging MUCH much slower being a shifter…  I hope something gets figured out there…

I can’t wait to read Five Weeks!!

I give this book 5 out of 5 shields!!
