REVIEW: Cain's Salvation by Sarah O'Rourke

CAIN’S SALVATION
Publication Date: January 2, 2014

Book Description
When Dr. Cain Turner's life was literally blown apart in a small province of Afghanistan, it was only the hope and memories of one woman that propelled him forward. But there were more demons to face.

In the small country hamlet of Paradise, Tennessee...Faith waits. Surrounded by her loving sisters, Faith McKinnon had faced her own demons, having thought that the love of her life had deserted her.

But fate...and a few meddling McKinnon sisters...conspired to bring the two star-crossed lovers together again.

NOTE: Romantica -- this is a romance with erotica in certain sections!!

This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Cain's Salvation starts off with a little bit of a pre-cursor and lets you know a few things about the damaged wonderful man that is Cain Turner.
In this book we have the perfect couple. Cain Turner and Faith McKinnon were so sweet... But after Cain was sent out to Afghanistan, he comes to a decision that he is too damaged of a man to deserve his betrothed. He decides to write her a letter telling her to find someone else and basically breaking off their engagement.

I loved how the author played the names of the brothers Cain and Abel... made me giggle... and the sisters' names too? Very neat!! Honor, the youngest of the McKinnon sisters, is a definite spitfire, take charge kinda gal when she sort of…. forces Cain to take a job that'll put him closer to Faith daily and face his decision head on.

I LOVED the ambush too, priceless!!

Oh, and the sex scenes in this book are very graphic as well! It was a nice change to see a little bit more of a real-type Dominance come out in a guy like that. I have read books where there is some Dominance but not usually as raw and passionate as Cain was.

I loved Honor's reaction to finding Cain and Faith in their....predicament... :)

While there were a few grammatical errors, I don't feel that they took too much away from the book's flow to be able to thoroughly enjoy this novel!

I give this book 4 out of 5 shields!!
