Blurb:

When bookish college co-ed Alexis heads to the laundry room in her new apartment, she runs into Ian Reese, the chem lab partner she crushed on all last semester. And the guy who stood her up on their first date. But she’s down for an awkward reunion, and no better place than her creepy laundry room.

Ian has every intention of making amends, but just when Alexis begins to trust him again, a new threat calls more than their future together into question. A ghost from the apartment’s past is hellbent on revenge, and if he wants to get his girl, he’ll have to get the ghost first.

I received this book on NetGalley for an honest review.
Now, normally this is not my usual read, however, the story, along with the cover... kinda of interested me. It begins a bit slow but it picks up rather quickly. The book didn't go too fast for me but at the same time, it didn't seem to drag out like some books tend to do with monologuing about each of the characters and plot-line. There were parts in this book where I was seriously creeped out.. Cabinets opening themselves and then Ian, who begins this story as a douchbag, but redeems himself after standing up Alexis....eventually. He does give a valid reason for needing to miss the date, but still... lol maybe I am being too much of a girl there... just a little. But anyhow, this book is a great quick read to get you in the Halloween spirit.

I give this book 4 out of 5 Shields!
