The Hunger begins just the same as The Craving had, back in the 1400’s with Ronan and his three friends Daman, Stefan, and Morcant. Only this book was from Morcant’s POV. Morcant in the beginning of this story heard the words of a gypsy woman and assumed she meant one thing and bedded her as well. Only apparently she really was supposed to be someone very important person in the gypsy community and future of their families, so… Morcant, taking her innocence was a big deal. But after that, he went to stick up for Ronan and stop Ilinca, the gypsy that cursed Ronan, only to have a curse of his own. Also in a dark, silent, solitude of nearly 200 years of a prison, he was cursed similarly to Ronan had been in book 1.

I was pulled into this book so quickly that I had to force myself to slow down and really absorb the information, paying attention to the details laid in all over the place and not read like I was starving for the next page... lol

Leana is a very strong woman, been left behind by pretty much everyone in her life by her entire family’s passing away slowly, and some abruptly. She has had to figure out a lot on her own, hunting, cooking, protecting herself... It is 1609 you know… a lone woman was a risk of being taken advantage of… Leana also has visions, which is what brings her and Morcant to meet. Leana inadvertently releases Morcant from his prison and feeds him dinner… this was just the beginning of a few stubborn events haha! Morcant had always been a free soul, sort of “looking for something” per his mother. He never had a feeling of belonging and fullness, he was always just a shell of what he could be.

Until Leana… The pure animal magnetism and raw emotion, that went along with the two of them was awe striking to say the least.

During the battle… wait, no… Leana had a vision while she was with Morcant that had me thinking and the way everything came together worked out splendidly. Enough so, that I giggled out loud with something like “He’s right there!!” and “Ha! Just look at em go! Wait till they see it!” so loudly in a silent room that my fiancé thought I had lost my mind… gave me one of those “smile and wave boys” sort of look haha!!!

This book leaves me to where I can’t wait to read what the fate of Stefan and Daman had happen to them and if they too suffered a 200 year curse as well… and why.

This is book four in Dannika’s Seven Series and let me tell you, I was sooo excited to read this one even more than the last! When I saw the cover, I was beside myself to get to read Ivy’s story!!

The first few pages gives us a trickle of something that has come forward from Five Weeks that honestly made me squeal and go back and read the last chapter to make sure I hadn’t missed something… so for that, Well done Dannika!!

Ivy is a new addition to the Weston Pack due to Austin owing her father a favor and trading Ivy over… Ivy is a very reserved woman. She’s not a hothead but she holds her ground. She doesn’t say much, but when she speaks, it’s best to listen and have a think about what was spoken, because it’s most often profound in nature and weaved like a beautiful web…

Ivy sees Lorenzo as a bit pretentious and even more pompous of a showoff who flashes  both his position and wealth around flaunting them, which may swoon some women, but to her… she’s different… this means diddley to Ivy..

As with the theme from the last couple books in the Seven Series, Ivy’s past come back to haunt her. But her past has got to be the worst one so far and she ends up getting hurt. With Ivy’s past, it isn’t just a good thing or person that’s difficult in the beginning… it’s bad and must be stopped A clash of events that all happened too fast to stop, puts Ivy and Lorenzo in close personal quarters for four days and in that short time… magic happens as Ivy learns as does Lorenzo.

I loved this book and the fact that Ivy didn’t just fall into Enzo’s arms was great… Dannika did a great job with this one and I can’t wait to see how she tops this one!!

Ronan and meg both have trust issues when it pertains to the opposite sex. This book was so amazing to get to read as we went through the repair of the two working together to prove that everything has a reason.

I loved that this wasn't instant romance either though! I have been getting quite bored with man meets woman, woman is swept off her feet, love at first sight, HEA.. So the way Donna kept us on our toes with this one was very lovely.

After the end of Donna's Dark Warrior Series, I was looking forward to this book as I can never get enough of Donna's Scottish Highlanders *SWOON*

Anywho... There is quite a bit I have guessed to be coming up in the next books but that is okay because it makes me want NEED more!!

This is the next installment of Donna Grant’s “Dark Kings” series. I was so on the edge when I got to read this one because Tristan is the biggest mystery next to Con himself! Such a rugged and utterly perfect man can’t make the story easy can he? Heck no! lol that wouldn’t be very fun now would it?? Lol

Tristan has been having some memories flashing back from his time before he was a Dragon King and then in the last book we found out a secret that kinda rocked some of Donna’s die hard fans that all were dying to know!

Sammi is an amazing heroine if I do say so myself… Such a stubborn and strong willed young woman! This book was a bit of a slow burner to start it off bur the further I read, the more I had to have!!

I did spot a few minor spelling errors, however if you’ve read the previous books in this series it isn’t something that you wouldn’t be able to venture past easily. Con really shocked me in this book a couple times as well!! And then learning that Rhi’s Dragon King Lover is alive! I thought by the way she was talking about him, that he was dead! But as always, Donna only gives us as much info as we direly need to continue and didn’t reveal who Rhi’s lover actually IS… So I guess I will read on to see if I learn later! Lol
